Salad for Lunch
This topic has been discussed repeatedly, and everyone thinks they have the answer.
Today, I removed some items from my fridge that I bought on June 26th, 16 days ago. They were all fresh and usable in a salad, except for one.
This is how they were stored:
- Avocado π₯ in a plastic tub
- Lettuce π₯¬ in a lock-n-lock tub, with some space around the lettuce inside
- Tomatoes π in a lock-n-lock tub
- Half a capsicum pepper π« in cling film
- Cucumber π₯ in a bees wax wrap
- Limes πβπ© 10 limes in a plastic bag
Only the cucumber had gone mouldy. Everything else has kept well due to the fridgeβs temperature, which is usually around 3-4 degrees.
