Salad for Lunch

This topic has been discussed repeatedly, and everyone thinks they have the answer.

Today, I removed some items from my fridge that I bought on June 26th, 16 days ago. They were all fresh and usable in a salad, except for one.

This is how they were stored:

  • Avocado πŸ₯‘ in a plastic tub
  • Lettuce πŸ₯¬ in a lock-n-lock tub, with some space around the lettuce inside
  • Tomatoes πŸ… in a lock-n-lock tub
  • Half a capsicum pepper πŸ«‘ in cling film
  • Cucumber πŸ₯’ in a bees wax wrap
  • Limes πŸ‹β€πŸŸ© 10 limes in a plastic bag

Only the cucumber had gone mouldy. Everything else has kept well due to the fridge’s temperature, which is usually around 3-4 degrees.
