Riverside Drive

We thought we might like New Zealand but were wrong – we loved it.

The scenery is stunning. The people we encountered were friendly, helpful, and present. And we could get things done. New Zealand has some very skilled people, and the quality of work is exceptional. If there is a problem, it gets fixed – simple as that. It took a lot of pressure off us.

We were never short of things to do on or off the boat. And we are already missing the Sunday barbecues and the chilly nights drinking beer in the yard’s workshop (although it was getting a bit too cold when we left).

So, I’ll end our posts on New Zealand with these random photographs taken around the boatyard.

Thank you to all our wonderful friends we met in Whangarei. I’m sorry, but you may not have seen the last of us.
